I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet

Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
